H. Alnwick (fl. 1926-1962) was a school master at Strand School, and the author of several geographical books published by George Harrap & Co. Ltd., including the "Picture Atlas of the British Isles", which contain wonderful regional pictorial maps. His name as author was always given as "H. Alnwick"; his forename is unknown.
