Chapuis was the draughtsman and J. Bergeron the lithographer, and the work is associated with Paul Jamain and R. Hausermann, with Octave Doin and the Librairie Agricole de la Maison Rustique named in the publication details. The botanical plates show leaves attacked by black rot, anthracnose, chlorosis and both powdery and downy mildew, while separate illustrations deal with the creatures of the vineyard: phylloxera, vine moth, mites and snails.
