Sailing charts of the Essex and Suffolk rivers show the nautical side of the lithographic printers Malby & Sons. They were published in 1903 for East Coast Rivers, issued by J. D. Potter; Malby printed the maps, while Lieutenant S. V. S. C. Messum compiled the guide and its charts. River sheets cover the Crouch, Blackwater, Colne and Stour, coastal maps take in Harwich, the Maplin Sands and Orford Ness, and tidal charts and tables accompany them.
