Parish churches and historic houses are recorded with a draughtsman’s precision in prints by Jacob Schnebbelie (1760–1792), who specialised in architecture and drew for the Society of Antiquaries. The plates, published between 1790 and 1818, partly in the Gentleman’s Magazine, show churches at Hornsey and Earl Shilton and the Revolution House and rectory at Old Whittington. A plate concerning the House of Saxony and Prince Maurice of Nassau adds a historical portrait subject; issues after 1792 are later printings of attributed work.
