Survey of India
The Survey of India was set up in 1767 to chart and consolidate the territories of the British East India Company. It's distinguished history includes undertaking the Great Trigonometrical Survey under William Lambton and George Everest and the discovery of Mt. Everest. We have an extensive stock of early 20th century (pre-partition) survey sheets, covering many different parts of the Indian subcontinent, including what is today Bangladesh and Pakistan.
