Carlisle Cathedral from several directions, Worcester beside its quay and the castles and bridges of Fulda and Schloss Bronnen show the range of the prints after C. Warren, credited as draughtsman on plates engraved by Benjamin Winkles and others. Ripon, St Asaph, St David's and Durham carry the cathedral subjects across England and Wales, while the continental river scenes, some of which appeared in Payne's Universum, set buildings among waterways and woods. Warren consistently shows a building within its immediate surroundings.
