Mentelle, Edme & Chanlaire, Pierre Grégoire

Edme Mentelle (1730-1815) taught geography at the École Militaire during the 1760s, and to the royal household during the 1780's. A globe he designed in 1786 is still on display in the Dauphin's apartments at the Palace of Versailles. With Pierre Grégoire Chanlaire (1758-1817) he published "Atlas National" (1790-1811), and "Carte d'Espagne et de Portugal en neuf feuilles" (c1810)
