HILLYARD has during the last few years fairly established his right to a prominent position among the Amateur Cricketers of the day. Hertfordshire, for which he first played, hardly gave him an opportunity of showing his ability as an all-round player. This he has found in Leicestershire cricket, with which he has been identified for the last few years. His height has been of use to him, both as a batsman and a bowler. Still, though a fairly reliable run-getter, his reputation has been mostly made by his bowling. With an easy delivery, well over head, he is above medium pace, and on certain wickets is sure to be effective, getting up very quickly from the pitch. Items smaller than A4 size are usually packed in a stiffened, board-backed envelope. Larger items are rolled and packed in postal tubes. Large items which are too stiff to be rolled in wide-diameter tubes are mailed in all-board envelopes. Returns
