Migeon. J.

J. Migeon (fl. 1854-1899) was a publisher of popular atlases in 19th century Paris. He is recorded as having operated from various addresses, including 76 Rue de la Harpe, 19 & 34 Rue du Chemin des Plantes, and 11 Rue du Moulin Vert. His key works include "Geographie Universel - Atlas Migeon", first published in 1854 and updated to 1874, and the Nouvel Atlas Illustré de Géographie Universelle in 1891. Little information is known about Migeon’s personal life; even his first name remains unknown.
