The print shows the house of Robert Shirreff, the Deputy Surveyor General of Woods, in which role he regulated tree cutting on public lands in Upper and Lower Canada. His father Charles was an early Canadian businessman and public official who had emigrated from Scotland in 1817; He obtained a grant of land in Fitzroy Township in the upper Ottawa Valley, later founding the town of Fitzroy Harbour, Ontario on the Ottawa River in 1831, where the family settled.

Packing

Items smaller than A4 size are usually packed in a stiffened, board-backed envelope. Larger items are rolled and packed in postal tubes. Large items which are too stiff to be rolled in wide-diameter tubes are mailed in all-board envelopes. In the unlikely event of damage in transit, please send the affected item or items back to us and we will provide a replacement or refund.

Returns
